‘Smoosh’ It Technique

Isn’t this a fabulous card? Very bright and cheery! We made this card at my upline’s home for a technique class. The background is done by smooshing ink! To do the smooshing technique you need craft or pigment ink. Open a page protector. Smoosh one color Stampin’ Spot ink on one side of the page protector. Stamp second color on other side of page protector. Close page protector and ‘smoosh’ sides together to mix ink. Roll brayer over page protector to coat well. Place a small amount of adhesive on back of glossy white cardstock. With glossy sides on outside, place in page protector and ‘smoosh’ ink to coat glossy cardstock. Roll brayer to coat well. Cover with Iridescent Ice and heat emboss. So totally cool! Each background will turn out different – no two the same!
