Happy Thanksgiving Boat

boat

This is a Thanksgiving boat I created. If you look on page 31 of the 2008 Stampin’ Up! Fall Winter Idea Book and Catalog, my boat looks similar to that one. Stampin’ Up! catalogs are filled with great products, samples of cards, scrapbook pages and 3D projects to CASE (copy and share everything). If you would like a catalog, please email me! We made this boat at my project class last month. Everyone had lots of fun and laughter….Hope you like it! Stop by again real soon. Have a good day!

Halloween Projects: Frankie and French Fry box

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. I have been out of the country, then sick, and now finally getting back to the blogging world. These are a little late but I wanted to share these with you. These are two projects we did at my October project class. You can change up the designs and make these boxes for Christmas. How about a Santa box and a French Fry box filled with chocolate candies for Christmas?

The only stamp set involved was on the French Fry box. I used Batty for You. If you look closely at the French Fry box, you will see the gathered ribbon. We learned this at the Stampin’ Up! convention this year.

Come back to visit soon. I will try to get back in the swing of things and post regularly! Thanks for visiting.

For You Mini Album from Convention

This cute little album is made using 2 little envelopes. Notice the beads on the flower image. When we did this make and take I learned an easy tip! To remove ink from the branches of this stamp, I used a blender pen! How wonderful is that!! I’ve also had the Color Spritzer tool but never used it. It’s amazing too……. Of course my scans are not the best. There are Tangerine Tango pages on the inside – gotta love that color!

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Eastern Blooms, Fundamental Phrases

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Love Notes II Tangerine Tango cards and envelopes (2)

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango

Accessories: Chocolate Chip Marker, Really Rust Marker, Old Olive ¼” grosgrain ribbon, orange bead duo, crystal effects, bone folder, blender pens, color spritzer tool

Instructions:

Seal one envelope and tuck flap inside second envelope

Place sealed envelope right side up with the top of envelope on your right. Ink flower and branch image in Tangerine Tango, take blender pen and remove Tangerine Tango ink from branches on rubber and color branches using Chocolate Chip marker. Stamp image on front of sealed envelope and stamp word image too.

Spritz envelope using Really Rust marker and Spritzer tool.

Score 3/8” from left edge of both envelopes and tangerine tango notes.

Create album by placing stamped envelope on top, two Tangerine Tango notes in middle and other envelope right side down, open end on right on bottom.

Punch 1/8” holes on left side for binding, add Old Olive ribbon.

Add crystal effects to flowers and add orange beads.
