Season of Friendship
I know, I have not been posting lately. I am taking a blogging class and may switch to Typepad in the months to come. I just got home from Stampin’ Up! Virgina Beach Regionals. It was loads of fun! I will be posting our make-and-takes with instructions a little later. Check back often….
Enough chatter, onto the card! This not your normal size card. I made this one a little smaller. It measures 5 x 41/4”. I started making the card and wondered why I could not put my greeting below the tree. I then realized it was not 5 ½” but I didn’t want to start over. Take a close look at the scallop punch. It is a scallop ring on the outside of the card. The two circles are on the inside of the card and the bird is popped up with dimensionals. Hope you like!

This is a Thanksgiving boat I created. If you look on page 31 of the 2008 Stampin’ Up! Fall Winter Idea Book and Catalog, my boat looks similar to that one. Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. I have been out of the country, then sick, and now finally getting back to the blogging world. These are a little late but I wanted to share these with you. These are two projects we did at my October project class. You can change up the designs and make these boxes for Christmas. How about a Santa box and a French Fry box filled with chocolate candies for Christmas?
The only stamp set involved was on the French Fry box. I used Batty for You. If you look closely at the French Fry box, you will see the gathered ribbon. We learned this at the Stampin’ Up! convention this year.

This is the first card I’ve created using the Big Shot die “Top Note.” I CASED Kimberly’s card. I love the look of Kraft and Chocolate Chip together, plus I added some Riding Hood Red.

This is a really quick card if you are looking for a simple card for a workshop. This is another card I did for an August workshop and everyone really enjoyed making it. I also made another card for my friends birthday exactly like this one, except I stepped it up a notch by adding black brads to the center of the flowers.
